About Image Size Checker
A free tool for checking an image before you publish it, submit it to a form, or hand it over to someone else.
What you can check
Choose or paste an image to see its pixel dimensions, file size, format, aspect ratio, megapixels, and orientation. Compare it with your own exact or minimum dimensions, maximum file size, and required format.
You can copy a summary, download a text report, compare common social image sizes, or crop, resize, and optimize a local copy.
How your images are handled
The image workflow runs in your browser. Checking or processing an image does not require a server upload or an account. The original file stays unchanged; downloads create separate files. Read the privacy information for details.
What a result means
- A requirement check covers only the rules you enter. It does not certify compliance with every rule of a marketplace, social platform, or application form.
- Pixel dimensions do not prove sharpness or print quality. This version does not read embedded DPI or provide a full EXIF audit.
- Format support depends on your browser. Processing animated or vector files may produce a single raster image, and downloaded copies may lose metadata or color profile information.
- The checker works with one image at a time. It does not scan website URLs or provide batch processing.
Use the destination's current instructions when checking an image. If you resize or compress it, select the downloaded copy to verify its final measurements.
